Welcome to the home improvers most valuable resource when buying replacement windows & conservatories

The Service - In Detail

1. Following your contact with Head Office, you will be contacted by your local Project Manager, who will arrange a mutually convenient appointment. Please allow around one hour for this preliminary survey.

2. Your Project Manager will discuss the proposed work, carry out all necessary measurements and complete our own survey forms for submission to appropriate companies.

3. Your details will then be sent to up to 4 companies specialising in the kind of work you require. Identical information and specifications are sent to all companies to ensure fair pricing.

At no time will any company or salesperson be aware of your address or telephone number

4. Within practical time-scales, prices are received and collated. Your Project Manager will be able to advise on all lead-times for your individual project.

5. Your Project Manager will contact you to discuss the results of our tender process and to advise you of the best way forward.

6. Should one offer be of interest, we will arrange a manufacturing survey and a convenient fitting schedule. At this time, most companies will require a deposit, and certainly a written confirmation to proceed to order, either through their own procedures and/or our own "Confirmation of Order".

At this time, detailed information, including brochures and samples are available. It is also possible at this stage to inspect previously completed local installations or take up references from customers who have previously used the installer or manufacturer.

7. Upon completion of the work, you simply pay the balance, either through our Customer Account, or to the installer directly. For larger window installations and for all conservatory contacts we will inspect the finished work prior to payment.

Payment Procedures

Our system is designed flexibly to facilitate all customer and supplier requirements. During our preliminary survey, our Project Manager will discuss the best option to suit you.

Protecting Your Payments

All registered companies are thoroughly vetted before they can do business with you. Because we have been dealing with the vast majority of our registered companies for years, and have built up a good history with them, we are confident that you are in good hands.

It is compulsory for all registered companies to cover all deposit and stage payments through a bona-fide insurance policy, which protects your deposit payment in the very unlikely event that a company goes out of business after receiving your deposit and before the contract is started. Because of our strict registration procedures, since the start of our service, no customer has ever lost a deposit in these circumstances.

Some contracts specify stage payments to be made during the course of larger projects. Each payment is calculated to reflect work completed and payments are only made when the work or delivery of goods is completed.

All payments made through NRWAS & NCAS are processed through our Bank managed Customer Account. For your additional security& confidence, we too have deposit protection insurance in place for every Customer Contract.

At all times throughout the course of your project, our appointed Project Manager and Head Office staff is on hand to discuss any query or issue which may arise.
